Dreams- A Portal to the Inner Worlds.
There are indeed inner worlds we connect to through dreams. My scientific proof, if needed, lies in the fact that many dreams are prophetic. They come true.
For example I dreamed the exact date of my mother's death. My mother was sick and she died one month after I had that dream- on that exact date. It was life changing to be given the gift of this dream as are other dreams. Like the one where my son, when he was nine years old, won the "candy-corn contest." His dream went like this:
He woke up one morning and said, "Mom, I dreamed I won the candy-corn contest." A busy single mom, I was focused on getting him ready for school and out the door, lunch box in hand.
"What candy-corn contest?" I inquired distracted by the morning's chores. Checklist: breakfast, lunches, and money for snack-homework in book bag.
"Yesterday, in math class," he said, "The teacher asked us to guesstimate how many candy corns were in a glass jar. I guessed 324 candy corns. In the dream last night the correct answer was 328. Do you think I should change my answer?
"The dream said that you won so just leave the answer you guesstimated."
That afternoon, my son, a happy sweet smiling face, ran down the steps of the school bus and waved a bag of candy corns.
"I won! I won," he shouted shaking the plastic bag filled with orange and white pyramid stripped candy. "The dream was right. The correct guess was 328 candy corns. I came the closest to the right answer! I won the candy corns."
Dreams like this change our lives. By why do they happen?
Dreams are a portal, an entrance to the inner worlds. So many things go on at night when we sleep. Sometimes we visit the future and prophetic dreams can result. We visit the Hall of Records, libraries and schools and review our past lives through the akashic records, a place where all thoughts, feelings and happenings throughout time are stored. At night, when we sleep our dream body roams freely unencumbered by our physical body. Yes it is true, dreams also process chaotic thoughts sorting out the activity of the day and getting us ready for the next day. But there is so much more to dreams. When we close our eyes at night and sleep, we step through a portal, a doorway into a very exciting dimension of spiritual life.
