Health Freedom America is a grassroots advocacy organization, a politically active voice that ensures health freedom by lobbying Congress and state legislatures and crafting legislation, educating the public, press, and decision-makers on integrative medicine and health freedom. Health Freedom America is dedicated to informing the public about health issues promoting health freedom, the right of the consumer to choose and the practitioner to practice. Health Freedom America protects all Pennsylvania licensed and non-licensed practitioners to practice holistic health care, and consumers everywhere to choose integrative medicine.
Some of the goals of Health Freedom America are to increase public awareness about possible threats to an individuals health freedom including but not limited to restricting dietary supplements, improper labeling of foods; unnecessary hormones, antibiotics and harmful additives and the potentially dangerous effects of Genetically Modified Foods, (GMO's) which can cause disease, and the right of the consumer to choose the holistic practitioner they want to work with, and the right of the holistic practitioner to practice.
Goals for Health Freedom America are:
1-Assisting in the development of Pennsylvania state policy with respect to health freedom.
2-Organizing public and private lobbying efforts with respect to issues related to health freedom.
3-Engaging in public and private lobbying efforts with respect to issues related to health freedom.
4-Defending the health freedom community practitioners and consumers against discriminating legislation and regulation.
